Shipping Policy

Order Confirmation:

Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. We then contact our suppliers to confirm the availability of the item(s) for immediate shipment. If any item is backordered or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and notify you via email. If the item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. You will receive tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse, sent to the email address provided at checkout. If you do not receive tracking information within six business days of your order, please contact us at support@venturingearth.com.

Shipping Information:

  • No International Shipping: We do not ship internationally.
  • Shipping Days: Orders are not fulfilled on weekends. Orders placed after 5 PM will be processed the next business day.
  • Shipping Areas: We offer free shipping within the 48 contiguous states of the USA. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or PO boxes.
  • Shipping Partners: We use Freight Club, FedEx, and UPS for our shipments.
  • Manufacturer Shipping: Most products ship directly from the manufacturer.
  • Shipping Time: 2-5 Business Days
  • Transit Time: 3-5 Business Days

Address Changes:

If your order has processed or shipped and you need to change the address, we will do our best to accommodate this change. Please expect delays for all address changes. If there are additional charges from our freight companies due to the address change, these will be paid by the customer. Once a product has been shipped, the address cannot be changed. While we will do our best to assist, we are not liable for lost shipments due to inaccurate addresses.

Shipping Times:

All shipping times are estimates and should not be taken as a guarantee. We strive to get orders shipped out as soon as possible. If a customer cancels an order due to a shipment not arriving within the estimated timeframe, the customer is responsible for all associated shipping charges, fees, warehouse storage costs, and any other fees related to the order. Any customer that files a chargeback for delays in shipping will be held criminally liable for theft.

Shipping Options:

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is always completely free! This option usually arrives at your doorstep within 10 business days after your order is submitted. For small parcels or items weighing less than 150 lbs, we offer front door delivery drop-off by FedEx or UPS.

Freight Orders:

For orders over 150 lbs, delivery is typically made on pallets and will require a delivery appointment and a signature upon delivery.

Damages:

We treat damages seriously and will file a claim on your behalf.

  • Freight Orders: You must inspect the products and note any and all damage in specifics on the Bill of Lading document BEFORE signing. Inspect the box carefully. We recommend opening the box right away and seeing if the items are in proper condition. If the driver won't wait, note "possible hidden damage."
  • Reporting Damages: Open boxes and send images right away to our email (support@venturingearth.com) WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY. Otherwise, the insurance claim we file for you will be invalid.

Customer's Freight Responsibility:

It is the customer's responsibility to note any damages on the Bill of Lading document for freight orders. For small parcel orders that do not require a signature, customers must send pictures and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to do so will invalidate any insurance claim we file on their behalf.

Return Policy

We pride ourselves on having one of the best return policies in the industry. You can cancel your order any time before it ships completely free of charge (exceptions apply, such as for custom orders, see below).

Return Process:

  1. Contact Us: Email support@venturingearth.com with your order number, product title, SKU, and reason for return.
  2. Pack the Item: Securely pack the item in its original, undamaged packaging.
  3. Authorization: We will provide you with return authorization and the return address after approval.
  4. Ship the Item: Ship the item back. You are responsible for the shipping costs. We recommend using a reputable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Your return will be credited within 5-10 business days of approval.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can refund you in full before your order leaves the warehouse. Reach agents during business hours at (804) 409-2536, the chat in the bottom right, or email support@venturingearth.com any time.

Cancellations of Custom Orders

Custom or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order. These units are custom-made to your specifications or created once you order. Once you place your order, production starts immediately. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made-to-order, please contact us.

All sales are final for custom-made and made-to-order products.

Refunds and Returns

If you need to exchange your product, you may do so. You, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs throughout the returns and exchange processes.

Not all orders are eligible for return once they have shipped. We order our products directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, if the manufacturer does not permit us to return a product, we cannot offer you a return. This often varies on a case-by-case basis; please reach out to us if you would like specific information on your brand and/or product.

Any outright returns will incur a 25% restocking fee. Customers have 30 days from the date they received the item to initiate a return; however, please check the specific return policy for the brand of product you are purchasing as the brand-specific return policy on the product page overrides this general return policy of 30 days.

Shipping Times

We promise to do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible. We provide estimated shipping times on the product pages based on what our suppliers and freight companies tell us. These estimated shipping times may change or vary without notice due to supply chain issues, delays from manufacturers, and high demand on shipping and logistics.

Order delays have proven to be unavoidable and outside of Venturing Earth’s control. While this might be frustrating, we ask you to please be patient and understanding with us during these tough times. We thank you for your business and appreciate your patience.

When you make a purchase from Venturing Earth, you acknowledge the following:

  1. I understand I am to inspect the package upon delivery, and notate and take pictures if there is any damage and provide it to Venturing Earth within 24 hours of the product being delivered.
  2. I understand that I am responsible for the cost of return shipping and the cost of a new product shipping in the case of a refund or exchange.
  3. I understand that products need to be returned unopened and unused. A restocking fee of 25% will occur.
  4. I understand that if my order has left the warehouse, I am unable to receive a full refund.
  5. I understand that if I return my order once it has shipped, I will be responsible for paying return shipping fees and a restocking fee of 25%. These fees will be deducted from your refund.
  6. I understand that shipping date estimates outlined on product pages are estimates and may change due to factors completely outside the control of Venturing Earth.
  7. I understand and agree that I will not cancel my order or file a chargeback for an order delay or because an estimated time provided to me turned out to be incorrect due to factors outside the control of Venturing Earth (such as manufacturing and logistical constraints of our partner companies).

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage, make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) arrive damaged, please send photos of the damage, the box, and the SKU, along with a brief description of the damage, to support@venturingearth.com. We will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival, or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours.

Warranty

Warranties vary depending on the manufacturer; see individual product pages for details. Warranty damages occur over time and from use. If an item was damaged upon arrival and not reported within 30 days, it is not considered a warranty claim.

Returns

Venturing Earth's default policy is that customers will be responsible for all return shipping charges or reconsignment fees caused by customer error unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Nearly all of our products have guaranteed warranty policies, meaning that you will receive a fully functional, operating product that you paid for without any extra expenses incurred on your end. Please see individual product pages for details.

If your return request matches the terms highlighted and your return is approved, the refund will be credited to the card used to place the order within 5-10 business days. Your refund can ONLY be credited to the card used to place the order.

BOGO Promotions

In the event of a BOGO promotion, both items must be returned for a full refund. If one of the two items is returned, you will get a replacement of that item or store credit for the value of that item when purchased on its own. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and a restocking fee of 25%. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card used when placing your order.

Chargebacks

Our team of agents is here to assist you and resolve any issues. We have purposefully made our policies as fair as possible, and we believe they are the best in the industry. We are on your team, and we will do all we can to help you out and provide the best resolution.

Given this, any customer that files a fraudulent chargeback will be held criminally liable for theft. If you have not received a product or have an issue with a product that you did receive, please contact us, and we will help you resolve your issue. 1) How long is the warranty?

ICECO offers 5-year warranty on Secop compressor and 1 year for other parts

2) How long does the shipping time usually take? Is there an expedited shipping service?

Shipping time typically takes 3-7 business days. And we currently have no expedited shipping service

3) Compressor Cycle Principle of Operation

When the temperature sensor detects that the internal temperature of the refrigerator has reached the set temperature, the compressor will stop working, causing the temperature inside the refrigerator to rise. Once the internal temperature of the refrigerator rises to a certain level, the compressor will resume operation to cool it down

4) What is the Triple Battery Protection Mode?

Battery protection refers to the function of a refrigerator that automatically stops operating when the voltage of the power source (car battery or external battery) drops below a certain set value. This prevents excessive depletion of the car battery or external battery, which could affect the normal ignition of the vehicle and the lifespan of the battery. There are three levels of protection: low, medium, and high.

When the car refrigerator is connected to an external power source, such as a portable power bank, in order to maintain continuous power supply from the battery, it is recommended to set it to the low level. This allows the external battery to work more efficiently

5) What is temperature compensation?

When the ambient temperature is very low (during winter), the compressor operates less frequently and for shorter periods of time. This results in higher temperatures in the freezer compartment and incomplete freezing of frozen foods. In this situation, the low-temperature compensation switch should be turned on to force the compressor to operate, allowing the freezer compartment to reach its normal temperature.

6) My fridge won't start on DC or AC.

  1. Please check if the DC power plug of the refrigerator has poor contact or is not connected tightly.
  2. Please start the refrigerator correctly according to the instructions (short press to start for JP/JP42 series; long press to start for GO/VL/VLPro series).
  3. Please remove the back cover of the refrigerator to check if the terminals are loose

7) I tried it at home with a 120 volt plug and it worked fine, but not when using it in the truck.


  1. It is possible that the voltage input on the DC is too high causing damage to the module.
  2. It may be that the voltage is too low or unstable to reach the starting value or the refrigerator works intermittently.
  3. It is possible that AC/DC power supply is connected at the same time and a certain module is burnt

8) How do I use a dual box with the VL60D? Why does my display only show the temperature in one zone?

Please try to long pressing the down arrow button to restart the right zone

9) Why doesn't the temperature on my fridge display match the temperature inside the fridge?

After the refrigerator reaches the set temperature, the compressor stops working for insulation, causing a slight temperature fluctuation, which does not affect the functionality of the refrigerator. After some time, the compressor will start working again for cooling. Temperature fluctuations in the range of 7-14°F are considered normal and may be due to the sensitivity of the temperature sensor causing these fluctuations

10) The unit display shows normal temperature but the food inside the fridge is freezing, is there any way to fix this?

Please check if the temperature sensor is malfunctioning. If replacing the temperature sensor still does not resolve the issue, it may be a malfunction in the refrigerator's control panel or module, causing incorrect displays. In this case, it may be necessary to replace the module or control panel

11) My dual zone refrigerator cools properly in one zone and not on the other.

This may be due to the excessive pressure endured by the solenoid valve and refrigerant, causing them to operate beyond their capacity. Additionally, high ambient temperatures may also lead to increased refrigerant pressure, resulting in a malfunction of the refrigerator's solenoid valve. We recommend placing the refrigerator in a cool environment for 1-2 hours and then restarting it to see if it returns to normal

12) Just received the unit upside down, will the unit still work?

Please place the unit on the correct side and wait for at least 6 hours before plugging in

13) Can the unit be powered by both DC and AC power?

No, connecting the unit to AC/DC power at the same time may cause a module to burn out

14) Can solar panels directly power the fridge?

Solar panels need to be connected with a battery to use, it can not directly power the fridge

15)I have four metal black clips that came with the solar panel, do you know what they are for?

They can install solar panels on the APL55

16) Is it normal to have condensation on the fridge casing?

When the humidity in the surrounding air is high, moisture in the air can condense into water droplets when it comes into contact with the cooler surface of the refrigerator exterior. This is a normal physical phenomenon
